The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) recently scheduled this year’s Brake Safety Week for Aug. 25-31, 2024. This annual event aims to emphasize the importance of ensuring sufficient brake systems in commercial motor vehicles (CMVs).

  • June is National Safety Month. This campaign, put together by the National Safety Council (NSC), highlights efforts to prevent injuries and deaths inside and outside the workplace. It also helps provide learning opportunities for employees, allows employers to share their safety pride and gives employees the opportunity to pledge that they will work safely.

By instituting safe work practices and procedures while excavating and working in trenches, we can prevent needless worksite injuries.
