Agency History

Founded in 1919, Walter Mortensen Insurance has a long history and tradition in Southern California, growing to six offices in the state. In 2005, WMI was acquired by a large Dallas-based agency, Guaranty Insurance Services, with multiple locations throughout Texas.

In April 2011, Guaranty became part of INSURICA, providing clients new resources delivered by the same local relationships they’ve come to trust.

INSURICA opened the Livingston office in 2015.
